Cammegh’s Aurora to illuminate The Star
6th July 2012 - Cammegh, have supplied The Star, formerly Star City in Sydney, for many years and Cammegh’s Mercury Wheels and Billboard Display Systems have reliably delivered random numbers and high resolution customer facing graphics throughout this time. Having rebranded and with a refurbishment nearing completion, The Star has ordered Mercury 360 Aurora Roulette Wheels and Billboard Displays to complement the sophisticated redesign. Ainslie Stevens, Gaming Performance & Development Manager at The Star said: “We trialed the Aurora Wheel and we loved it. The change of colour at ‘no more bets’ helps surveillance, while the illumination is eye-catching and totally different.” Ainslie added: “The Aurora Wheel is unique, the side bet and Mystery Prize potential is something we are really looking forward to offering our customers, while also topping-up value. Roulette is a primary offer in our live gaming mix and to add Aurora Roulette to our gaming floor is something we are all excited about.”
The Aurora roulette wheel has a Mercury 360 engine and is able to generate up to six additional numbers with the GLI approved ‘Bonus Numbers Feature’. The bonus numbers randomly determine a colour, illuminating the centre of the wheel, creating side bets and mystery prizes in addition to the traditional game. The size and hit frequency of the random spot prize can be tailored by the casino, linking it to special promotions or events if required.
